Back in Season 12, Jo finds out about Alex and Izzy’s frozen embryos when he was diagnosed with cancer and they briefly discuss their future together. Alex wanted to have a baby with Jo, but both decided it wasn’t time for them yet.

Camilla Luddington announced her first pregnancy in October 2016 during Season 13 of Grey’s Anatomy. However, pregnancy was definitely not in sight for her character Jo and her husband Alex Karev (Justin Chambers).
Jo Adopted a Baby in the Season 17 Finale of Grey’s Anatomy
Amid the chaos of the pandemic in Gray Sloan in Season 17, Jo met little baby Luna. The baby lost his mother due to complications and Jo fell in love with the newborn while she was taking care of him.
By the end of the season 17 finale, Jo had finally adopted Luna. The Grey’s Anatomy season 17 finale was quite the whirlwind. We originally started in August 2020 when we found out that Jo was planning to sell her shares in Gray Sloan in order to hire a good lawyer and get custody of Luna.
After the death of her estranged husband, she married Alex Karev until he left her for his ex-wife, Izzie. She is now the mother of Luna Ashton.
Your pregnancy was not credited to the show. Camilla Luddington was pregnant with her first child while filming this season. It’s not written into the show either. She gave birth during production of the final episodes of the season, resulting in Jo Wilson being absent from several episodes.
In Season 12, April and Jackson agreed to raise their child together as friends. From the few episodes Harriet has appeared in since April left Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital, it appears that the couple continue to have amicable custody of their daughter.

Not long after their fight, April discovers that she is pregnant. April and Jackson’s baby is diagnosed during pregnancy with a disease that causes fractures in the baby called osteogenesis imperfecta type 2 and is told that the baby will not survive long after birth.
Alex finally saw that Rebecca wasn’t actually pregnant and became slightly concerned when she didn’t listen to him, instead insisting that she had lost the baby. He took her home and decided to take care of her, ignoring Izzie’s comments about Rebecca “not looking very good”.
