Netflix’s defunct drama series The OA will eventually not have a movie to wrap up the series. The series, which debuted in 2016 and recently ended on a cliffhanger after two seasons (out of five planned), sparked fan outcry (even a hunger strike at one point).
After many failed attempts, the OA manages to get Homer (Emory Cohen) to remember their time together in the dimension they met . Once the OA leans over to see Dr. kissing Roberts goodbye and saying goodbye to Dr. Joining Percy brings into focus for him the memories of their shared desire for freedom in Hap’s underground prison.

I think The OA is a brilliant show. A lot of people find it “boring” because they compare it to Stranger Things. Instead of thinking that the two shows are the same or different, think that the shows are two separate things and can be enjoyed separately.
But going with the story and characters of the series ultimately makes for a worthwhile viewership, so stick with it. The OA is also just a really well produced series. It’s beautifully filmed and will excel on both smaller and larger screens. The music is amazing too.
