Samuel Perry Gilligan “Sammy” Dorian is the son of John Dorian and Kim Briggs. He was picked up by J.D. on their first date. and Kim conceived despite not having sex. After temporarily moving away, Kim moved back to Sacred Heart to give birth.
You have a date with J.D. getting her pregnant through premature ejaculation. In season 6, they decide to keep the child and try to make a relationship work, but they break up when Kim announces that she had a miscarriage.
It was revealed that Kim lied about the miscarriage and J.D. got back together and when she found out he was only dating her because of their child, she broke up with him once and for all before having his child, Sam Perry Gilligan Dorian. They remain on friendly terms.
But considering an unexpected pregnancy and the fact that J.D. Living in a tent on his own half an acre of land, Kim made the decision to lie to him about losing the baby in order to protect them all from future complications.
Much of Season 8 focused on J.D. Becoming a father and building his relationship with Kim after deciding they would not try to be romantically together for their son Sam. J.D. was very focused on his son and developed a good relationship with Kim, and the final season of the show dropped that storyline.
Kim Briggs was fatal while on her lunch break on February 12, 2016. The then 44-year-old Kim was out on her lunch break on February 12, 2016 when Alliston, riding a fixed-gear bike with no front brakes, collided with her as she entered Old Street, east London.
When New Sacred Heart opened, Elliot (“First Day of School”) made a switch. She told Turk that if she had the chance to support herself financially without having to work, she would give up medicine because she has a hard time breaking news to people they can’t hope to hear to recover from (“My Full Moon”).
Bill Lawrence explained that each character had to cut a few episodes at ABC’s request because the series had to be produced cheaper. This is the first season that J.D. does not appear in every episode.
Carla marries Turk in the Season 3 season finale, “My Best Friend’s Wedding”. She and Turk go through a trial breakup in Season 4 after Carla finds out Turk is still talking to his ex-girlfriend without telling her he’s married.

Elizabeth Banks (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) guest stars as Dr. Kim Briggs, the mother of J.D.’s baby.
This may be a bit immature as it is currently after midnight. But I’ve noticed over the seasons that his fantasies and inner voice become more and more bizarre as the show progresses.
Julie was with J.D. together. They met on a blind date arranged by Julie’s great aunt, who is a patient of J.D. was. They ended their relationship after J.D. tried to talk to Julie about a long term relationship and she said she wasn’t ready to think about it.
Even J.D. only appeared a few times. According to reports at the time, Judy Reyes did not return for Scrubs Season 9 because she was only interested in maintaining her full-time job and the full-time salary that came with it. p>
Scrubs was discontinued in part due to ratings, but also due to the fact that it had radically changed. Lawrence wanted to move on, and his original stars and quirky characters were almost all gone.
